In case you missed it over on our social media, we've been posting information and ways to help Black mothers and their babies before, during, and after birth. Black mothers are at least 3-4 times more likely to die from a preventable pregnancy-related issue than white mothers. Black newborns are also more likely to die than white newborns. Some of the root of the problem comes from lack of affordable available care for marginalized communities and the treatment they do receive while in the hospital based on skin color.

This is a huge problem that will require a multi-faceted solution, but we can help by donating to organizations that are dedicated to making this change for Black mothers and their babies. Here is a recap of the resources we've shared.
